Removing/toning down the AI's omnipotence would make the gameplay far more engaging by making the fights feel more organic and fair rather than feeling like you're fighting against, well, a computer. I've tested this by playing both as and against the 4 factions and rushing a particular playstyle from the beginning of the match and the AI counters it 90% of the time (and this is on normal difficulty, I hate to imagine what the AI is like on higher difficulties (also note that I'm not complaining about the AI being able to counter you, I'm complaining about how they counter you without even having to engage your units to "learn" what type of army you have)). Even though this is the super ultra light edition. In can be used for, but not limited to: Singleplayer Cheating, Testing units, Balancing, Debugging maps, Setting up scenes for screenshots/videos and so on. They also seem to instantly know the composition of your army, fielding the perfect counter-army right from the beginning of the game before they've even made contact. It's really frustrating how much the AI "cheats" in every CoH game (and lots of other RTS games), but it's especially apparent from having played this playtest.
